What does MicroVas treat?

MicroVas is a noninvasive, new technology that can be used to treat both diabetic wounds and peripheral neuropathy. We are pleased to offer this form of treatment to patients here in our office and keep individuals who live with diabetes safe from these potentially critical medical conditions.

Non-healing wounds are a major concern for diabetic individuals, especially when combined with nerve damage that prevents them from being aware of the issue. This concern can be alieved with three 45-minute MicroVas treatment sessions per week. Each session is performed as an outpatient procedure and entails the use of electrical stimulation to promote strong blood flow. In turn, the improved circulation delivers vital oxygen and nutrients that repair cells and enable tissue growth. This therapy also regenerates nerve tissues that had previously atrophied on account of diabetes.
